Ruffy and the Riverside Heads to PC and Consoles Next Year

Ruffy and the Riverside switches it up on the indie side in 2025! Phiphen Games announced that the platformer will head to PC and consoles early next year, with the game available to wishlist on Steam. This unique platformer comes with an innovative swap mechanic and a lush artstyle packed with a blend of 2D/3D goodness.

About Ruffy and the Riverside

Phiphen Games announced today their debut title Ruffy And The Riverside will be featured at Gamescom 2024 later this month in the Indie Arena Booth. The title will be published for PC and Console in early 2025. Gamescom attendees can get some hands-on time with Ruffy by visiting the Indie Arena Booth where the game will be featured. They can also wishlist the game now on Steam.

“In partnership with Zockrates, Phiphen Games is thrilled to bring Ruffy and The Riverside to Gamescom Indie later this month,” said Molly Conners, Phiphen Games. “We’re excited to see gamers experience this unique and visually stunning story.”

Ruffy And The Riverside is an action adventure platformer featuring unique gameplay in a beautiful hand drawn world. Gamers step into the shoes of Ruffy the bear as they explore a multitude of levels while solving various puzzles and riddles using the magical SWAP mechanic. They will experience a fresh and funky world with an epic and funny story, straight forward action, surprising puzzles and accompanied by good vibes from the original soundtrack. 

“We looked at a lot of different publishing partners for Ruffy and finally decided on working with Phiphen Games,” said Patrick Ruckdeschel, CEO Zockrates Labs. “Phiphen’s deep roots in the entertainment industry and knowledgeable gaming team made it a perfect fit and one we feel will ensure the greatest success for Ruffy.”
