About BEASTARS Final Season Part 1
Following the confrontation with Riz, Legoshi decides to leave school and begins living alone in Beast Apartments. Meanwhile, Louis, who has declined the Young BEASTARS and graduated from the academy, decides to finally face his father, Ogma. Haru, who is enjoying her campus life, deals with an endless series of troubles. Around this time, current BEASTAR Yahya pursues Melon, a violent criminal who seeks pleasure in murdering beasts. The fates of Legoshi and Melon, which never should have crossed paths, are intertwined by a secret held closely by Legoshi’s family.
New Cast Members
The long-awaited final season of the anime BEASTARS is set to culminate in two parts, with Part 1 premiering on December 5. Alongside the main trailer, the ending theme song and the voice cast for new characters debuting this season have been announced. Fans can also look forward to the return of familiar characters from Seasons 1 and 2.
Set in a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist, this ensemble drama features young beasts grappling with their instincts. The anime is based on Paru Itagaki’s masterful comic, published by Akita Shoten in Shonen Champion Comics, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide and received many awards. In 2019, the anime adaptation, produced by Japan’s leading CG animation studio Orange, received international acclaim. This anthropomorphic drama, crafted by fresh talent, explores themes of discrimination, love, vulnerability and hope.
Meet the new characters and voice cast:
- Shigeru Chiba voices Gosha, a Komodo dragon who once aspired to become a BEASTAR alongside Yahya but abandoned that path after a particular incident. He’s gentle-minded but possesses powerful venom.
- Shin-ichiro Miki voices Yahya, a horse and current BEASTAR who’s a believer in justice. He wears a blindfold to suppress his wide vision and wariness.
- Koji Okino voices Melon, a mysterious beast operating in the underground, whose true identity remains unknown.
- Tessho Genda voices Sagwan, a spotted seal of indeterminate age living in Legoshi’s apartment building. Having recently moved from the ocean, he’s still adapting to life on land and has a calm personality.
- Fumiko Orikasa voices Seven, a Merino sheep and Legoshi’s neighbor, working at a major sporting goods manufacturer. She’s exhausted from working in a male-dominated corporation.
