Last weekend, Kana (Abrams ComicArts’ imprint aiming to publish new manga series in English) announced that Space Punch Volume 1 will be available this week. This series from French mangaka ZD will come to bookstores on January 7, with comic shops getting a release the next day. This epic sci-fi series took the French comic scene by storm, and thanks to Kana, English readers will be able to take a look at it soon!
About Space Punch Volume 1
The epic series kicks off in this first volume which throws readers into a sprawling, mafia-governed metropolis where corruption and violence are commonplace. Space Punch Volume 1 follows two brothers as they try to navigate the dangerous and unforgiving city they call home. Joe and Zack lost their father when they were young. Since then, the two brothers have chosen vastly different paths: Zack is a policeman, while Joe is a food delivery man. Despite their differences, both brothers are gifted boxers with good hearts. Zack and Joe feel stuck in Mirai City until the discovery of mysterious artifacts left by their late father is about to change their lives forever.
Space Punch Volume 1 will publish in bookstores on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and in comic shops on January 8.
