There will be exclusive editions of Linda Linda Linda, Look Back, Angel’s Egg, and Love & Pop, with an additional 4K release of Tekkonkinkreet available in September as well.

Built specifically for collectors, this lineup offers the definitive physical editions of four celebrated films. New Blu-ray editions of LINDA LINDA LINDA (2005), Look Back (2024), Angel’s Egg (1985) and LOVE & POP (1998)are now officially live for pre-order. The new run of titles highlights the breadth of the GKIDS home entertainment catalog, maintaining a focus on both highly beloved new release titles with Look Back, as well as ‘from the vault’ titles from beloved filmmakers with LINDA LINDA LINDA, Angel’s Egg, and LOVE & POP that come to collectors’ shelves in premium formats for the first time. GKIDS plans to reveal details on additional Look Back and Angel’s Egg editions in the future.

GKIDS released its first store exclusive in 2022 with an expansive, limited-run Ultimate Edition of the critically acclaimed NEON GENESIS EVANGELION. The set spanned the entire television series, two films, merchandise, and included over seven hours of bonus features, marking the first time the influential anime series became available on Blu-ray in North America. GKIDS continued its dedication to elevating influential animation in 2024 with the Limited Run Collector’s Edition release of ARCANESeason 1, from Riot Games, followed by ARCANE Season 2 in 2025. Both home entertainment releases of the globally loved animation were met to resounding recognition from fans for its attention to detail and premier bonuses. Tekkonkinkreet Release Announced
GKIDS additionally revealed a home video release of beloved cult classic Tekkonkinkreet. In honor of its 20th anniversary, the film is making its 4K UHD debut as part of a two-disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray set this September.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Tekkonkinkreet, thebeloved cult classic based on the acclaimed manga by three-time Eisner award winner Taiyo Matsumoto, is making its 4K UHD debut as part of a two-disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray set this September. GKIDS announced at its Anime Expo 2026 Industry Panel that the prize-winning feature, directed by Michael Arias, and animated by STUDIO4°C, will be available on a 4K UHD Blu-Ray and digital download on September 1, 2026 and is now available to pre-order.
Black, a boy who seeks to bend the city to his will through strength, and White, his innocent counterpart, are two orphaned street kids living in the slums of Treasure Town.
