There’s something we didn’t expect to see on our 2025 Bingo card: Atari announced it will release Bubsy 4D on all major consoles in the future! The game will be created by Slime-San and Demon Turf developer Fabraz with a brand new look for the bobcat.

The infamous, wise-cracking bobcat has returned to 3D in a new platforming adventure. Bubsy is back with new challenges, new moves, and even more purrsonality. Run, jump, glide, and roll across alien planets, battle robotic sheep, and collect tons and tons of yarn. What could possibly go wrong?
While the game was just announced at Gamescom today, there will definitely be more to cover in the future. This writer actually had a good time with Bubsy: Paws on Fire back in his previous gig, and Bubsy 4D is shaping up to be a surprisingly good platformer?
